Osawa-Mikinaakoos Oshkadisi-agamik
(“Yellow Turtle
Youth Home”)
Short-Term Assessment and Treatment
Residential Program for Children and Youth
In
Ojibwe Teachings, yellow is the colour of the south, which is
the place of the youth.
The turtle
symbolizes the Seventh Grandfather Teaching “Truth”.
When we are able to live with love, respect, humility,
honesty, wisdom and courage, we are ready to live a truthful
life.
