Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority will be hosting a recruitment event on January 26, 2018 at 5:30 pm and Saturday January 27, 2018 at 11:00 am. 'Enhancing Healthcare in Northwestern Ontario' recruitment event will take place at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, located at 100 Front St. W, in Toronto, Ontario.

 Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA) provides services, advocacy and leadership for the health of Anishinabe people across the Sioux Lookout region. SLFNHA services approximately 35,000 people from 33 remote northern communities encompassing a geographical area the size of France. We are dedicated to strengthening and empowering First Nations through the provision of a strong health care system.

You are invited to join us at the Fairmont Royal York Territories room to learn about our current strategies and our healthcare professional needs.

Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority's Aboriginal Healing and Wellness Strategy (AHWS) department is accepting applications for it's November intake of the 6-day Community/Family Healing Program. Taking place on November 10-17, 2017, this program will introduce concepts of healing and wellness for community, family and self through an Indigenous worldview. It will deepen self-awareness, promote healthy life skills and provide participants with tools for relationship and parenting skills. Participants will also learn life skills to help you manage in today's world and learn how to move beyond past hurts. Please see poster here more information.

This program will introduce concepts of healing and wellness for community, family and self through an Indigenous worldview. It will deepen self-awareness, promote healthy life skills and provide participants with tools for relationship and parenting skills. Participants will also learn life skills to help you manage in today's world and learn how to move beyond past hurts. Please see links below for more information.
