Under the Direction of the Physician Services Administrator,
this position will perform work at the advanced level by
reviewing and analyzing financial information for the Primary
Health Care Unit. This position will analyze health financial
data and assist in health program development and evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS
·
A Diploma, Degree in Business Administration or Health Care
Administration and/or Project Management;
·
Strong financial forecasting and analysis skills;
·
Experience in health care cost review;
·
Knowledge of the principles and techniques of financial
analysis;
·
Strong oral and written communication skills;
·
High degree of computer literacy; (i.e. accounting, health
management data base, Microsoft Office and project management
software)
·
Well developed organizational leadership and interpersonal
skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY
·
Knowledge of the principles and techniques of financial and
economic analysis;
·
Knowledge of health issues and trends;
·
Understanding of business management principles;
·
Knowledge of research technique;
·
Ability to evaluate technical and financial data;
·
Knowledge of statistics and statistical techniques;
·
Ability to speak Oji-Cree, Ojibway & Swampy Cree is a definite
asset.
